God... it was just so good to be out now...
Katelyn had thought to herself as she relaxed in her chair in the safety of her mechanized combat suit. The machine's noises itself had startled away animals that might be nearby. Whether it being the gears rotating around, the engine that lightly roar from the back, or even the powerful stops it took with each step too advance itself for wards. But whichever way it was, it both calmed her down much more, yet it disappointed her in a few different ways. She enjoyed animals with her heart, and loves to always examine the ways that they can do certain things. It didn't matter how lame it looked to other people, she loved it. But at least the animals of Pandora would be safer from her and other humans that may come around eventually.
What she didn't realize however was how far she had even walked off. She thought that she had walked a few miles, sure, but she never really did realize where she was heading to wards. Though she couldn't very well see what she was heading to wards since the forestry was getting thicker and thicker by every minute her machine had been walking on. She couldn't even tell what was going on since she had rested her eyes for a little while, though they eventually shot wide-open when her machine had stumbled to the ground and landed on it's side. It freaked Katelyn out just a little bit, and took her a could of breaths before she could settle herself down. She then huffed a bit and moved some of her loose hairs out of her face. "My fault, could have avoided that... but I didn't" She told herself as she put on her gloves which began to control the arms of the machine, and pushed herself back up to her feet.
Something was strange though, her right are was just cover in some sort of grayish power, and kept examining it until she realized what it actually was. "... ashes?" She asked herself, and began looking down at the ground, the place was covered in ashes and charcoal all over the place, except for what seemed to be rock rims around the place. |The more she began to examine where she had fallen, the more she realized that she was was standing in a gigantic bonfire. She quickly got out of it by swiftly walking back wards, but what knocked over a bit of the rock rim. She moaned to herself when she saw the broken circle, and began to do what she could to repair it the way that it may have been before.
"Dear Lord... today is NOT my day." She told herself as she brushed off what was left of the soot that clinged onto her suit, and began looking down at the ground to see if any more damage had been done because of her machine. When she did however, she saw something pretty interesting. Footprints, and they scattered the entire ground from the looks of it, but she couldn't see very well in her suit. So, she made the decision to actually go out on the field, and had gotten her oxygen mask on and opened up the cockpit window up. She quickly jumped outside, and soon enough began following some of the footprints, and even taking notes and snapshots of them for research. Though she was on her toes now, just because someting could not be seen, didn't mean it was there.

The day was good, the evening was good, but the night, just before everyone would retire to their hammocks, was turning out to be questionable. Some Na'vi had gotten careless around the bonfire, and Txe'lan had noticed this when he had been there. Figuring he would be a good samaritan and go fetch one of his salves commonly used for burn treatments, he had the good intention of acting the part of a healer, but he was too slow; his one good eye hadn't accounted for the problematic way he'd taken to get to his study where he left all of his elixirs and salves. By the time he got back, everyone had left the bonfire pit.
Everyone, everyone that was Na'vi, yes; but that wasn't all that was here.
There was something loud down there, something that clearly wasn't native to Hometree or even Pandora. It sounded like heavy clanking against the ground, the sound of... metal. This was truly an unusual sound, but he wasn't going to wake the rest of the Na'vi until he investigated. Figuring something like this shouldn't be left to a lack of caution, Txe'lan gathered his bow, a couple arrows, and his karambit dagger, harnessing them across his body like a good hunter. He hadn't needed to use them much lately, so the both of them might see some action tonight. That is, just in case things got hostile. Whatever was making that noise had a good chance of being hostile, and Txe'lan didn't appreciate violence in his home.
As he descended the branches as well as the various improvised staircases, not giving away his own position in the process, he made use of his good eye to try and discern what was going on around the bonfire pit. There was no fire, so an excuse of trying to light one was out of the question as the rest of the Na'vi had already retired. As he got closer, he started to discern something troubling; something... foreign. How did it manage to get this close to Home Tree? Txe'lan was starting to become worried.
Then he finally found the source: a Sky Person. Taking what he already knew of them, Txe'lan didn't draw his bow or his dagger; the vibe it would give off wasn't what he wanted. They didn't call Txe'lan the "Heart of Forgiveness" for nothing, and he was holding true to his name. Instead, he tried a more diplomatic approach, seeing as though she wasn't in her metal contraption.
"Pesu aynga, tawtute?" said Txe'lan in the tongue of the Na'vi, wondering who they were. All he knew right now was that she was a Sky Person, leaving him to wonder if she knew anything of the Na'vi language. He himself knew some rudimentary English, but it wasn't quite enough to sound legible. It was probably the better option to use when greeting the Sky People, but for now he just wanted them to know: he was here.

This was real good for Katelyn right now, however, she knew that this stuff was just going to get better with every step she further took around this rim of the bonfire. Everything was just so intresting to her, all the things she was finding, all the info that she was recieving right now, it was like a dream come true for a scientist. Which brought up another thing into her mind while she had been recording all this information on her helm-camera.
Should she tell them about all of this? Sure it was going to help them with their research and all, and it will make the Avatars become dumb-founded when they see just a simple human had gotten the information some of the base members have been striving for. It would be quite a laugh and a big wad of cash if she was to show and give away this info to them. But then... this could cause a few problems for everyone in the base. The scientists would think that she had harmed some of the natives here just to get this info, just because she was a bloody soldier. The Avatars would get it hard as well most likely, since a hand-ful of them gave away their freemoments and quite a few life-risking times just to get a simple glimpse of these Na'Vi creatures.
That was something that had gotten her all rattled up as well... She knew what the hour was at the time on this planet, and she knew not very much should even be awake right now, but there was always something around, watching you, and just waiting. She had read that these Na'Vi were pretty much one with the eviroment, meaning that can hide from other's visions, and just keep waiting for someone to come, someone that wasn't of their community, and that someone's body could be in the jungle rotting with it's organs hanging all loose on the tree-tops to show that these guys mean some buisness.
That was the feeling she had right now, that someone had been watching her right now, and waiting for her to do something to trigger some stupid reaction. Because of this, she had taken off her weapons belt and laid it on an nearby log where she could get it in case there was a situation to happen, and that she could get her weapon as an offensive matter. Though she would never dare try to shoot one of them. Heck, the Na'Vi were probably scared of the humans as much as the humans were scared of the Na'Vi.
"Pesu aynga, tawtute?"
That just froze her right on the spot, she was completely not expecting to have a voice behind her back, at least not right at this exact time. Even with her back turned, she could tell some certain things about those three words, if it was three that is. The speaker was male judging from the deep voice that it had with them, and that he was maybe... thirty or so feet away from her, giving her a chance to try and run for her gun if it was needed.Either way however, she knew that it wasn't human in the slightest.
Slowly she began to turn around, not trying to provoke the Na'Vi that was behind her. And just looked up at who was behind her, and she was quite surprised. This creature was indeed a Na'Vi as she predicted, but this guy was GIANT! She was expecting maybe these guys being around seven to eight feet tall like some of the Avatar, but no! This guy was maybe around nine to ten feet tall at the least. He also had one heck of a build to him, for his muscle sculp was that of a healthy fighter, and does have a few weaponry on her, making her nothing but a tick when it came to power. Boy... things were not good for her.
"Ho-ly Shit....."
She said slowly and herself verbally with a slow-talk and nervous tone in her voice while she had began stepping back without even realizing it. He didn't seem to be offensive to her however, which probably ment that he didn't want to start any sort of fight like her, and that she was thankful for. What she wanted though, was a bit of better knowledge on how to speak the Na'Vi language better, sure she could partially understood what he saqid, and knew a bit about the language, though since he probably only spoke his own language instead of the typical english she grew up on, she was going to have to speak back to him in his own language... what a pain. Either way, she had to communicate, and she had to do what she could.
Ka-no... not that's not right.... oh! Wait yes it is! kaltxì n, ohe pn lu v Katelyn.... umm... pesu pn lu v... uh... aynga pn? She asked him with a bit of a stressful tone in her voice. It was difficult remembering the language, and an even bigger problem trying to speak it.

Needless to say, Txe'lan was a bit surprised. He'd always figured the Sky People would try and at least learn the language of the Na'vi, but to think she could put any effort into it was a step unto a whole new level. She was almost coherent, but the words definitely needed work as far as fluidity went. Fortunately Txe'lan could understand what she said, saying her name was Katelyn, and since she made the effort to communicate in Txe'lan's language he figured he would try and return the favor.
It was kind of gutsy for a Na'vi to directly approach a Sky Walker, but since she was out of her metal suit he figured she didn't pose too much of a threat as to actually engage in violence; so the verdict was that he would be safe. Dialogue had been established, so Txe'lan, with his infinite capacity to forgive, felt that diplomacy was a needed effort here. He got up from his area of concealment, letting him be in full view of Katelyn.
Now Txe'lan was a respectable figure among the Omaticaya clan, and to display this fact was because of many things, part of the reason being his choice of garb. While most wore brown burlap-esque or other articles from prepared foliage for clothing, Txe'lan's clothing differed. He wove his own garments, sporting a rather generous-spaced loin cloth that was incredibly dark, indicating that he'd taken the effort to dye it a different color. He also donned an open vest of the same cloth and color, his dagger sheath draped across the center of his chest from the right shoulder downward whilst his bow was fastened across his chest the other way. His black hair was a mix of loose strands and braided bits with ornate beads, but across his left eye was a banded cloth, indicating he had a disability. All in all Txe'lan was very attractive, but that was mostly up to objectivity on the part of Sky Walkers.
"Katelyn... You... speak Na'vi... Pefya?"
Using what little he knew of English whilst filling in the cracks with his own language, Txe'lan wished to engage this Sky Person Katelyn with more dialogue, sitting down on one of the logs nearby the rest of the Na'vi have known to use as a seat when resting comfortably around the fire.
Using his hand to motion her over, he patted the log on the side of him to indicate that he wanted her to sit down. He found this Sky Person Katelyn to be strange, not threatingly, but rather peculiar. If she did know about the Na'vi language, then this could bode an interesting opportunity for Txe'lan to study the Sky People as well, mostly to find out why they came back to Pandora after his ancestors banished them all centuries ago. No one liked tension unless they were warmongers, and Txe'lan was simply curious.
"I... lu Txe'lan," He spoke, putting his hand on his chest to tell who he was. He then pointed at the log he was sitting on, showing her where to sit. "Za'u, fikem."

Katelyn's eyes widened just a little bit when she saw the Na'Vi beginning to advance towards her. Was it something that she had said? Had she said something that may have insulted him in such a bad way? Or maybe it was because she was able to talk in his language in such a way to insult him for think that he species was smarter than them. Her heart really began to race rapidly with every step he took towards her, but she still stood her ground no matter what. She was no coward, she was not going to back down just because she was afraid of losing her life, there were others that could be losing their lives if things did not go properly here. No, that wasn't going to be risked for just a simple chat gone wrong, she was ready for what she was going to get.
Though what she had gotten was a tiny bit unexpected to her. She expected this Na'Vi to reveal himself sure enough since, she could really see was a mere outline of him, but she was not fully expecting what she had gotten from him. Sure she expected the typical loin cloth made of some cloth and what not, but she was not very much expecting the woven gauntlets or even the eye patch that had cloth covering his left eye. That she had pity for to admit, it must have sucked to have a disability such as that. What had gotten her attention more than anything however, was that the markings on his body, both the dark skin and the glowing dots around his body were almost shaped like little heart designs, it was just so unusual to see any sort of mark like that on someone. But hell, she could admit a lot of things about him just by the mere sight of him, though one good way of saying it clear was that he very attractive... for a cat-man that was.
With her, heck, she was quite different compared to him in many different ways. She wore all camoflauge which of course showed little to no skin on her body, and those that did were either the exposed parts on her gloves, or her face that was being covered with a glass shield, and you couldn't see too well of her face in this time of hour. She even had her hair hiding underneath her cap just to keep it out of her face, and he has his beaded and waving all around, boy were complections odd.
When Katelyn began to hear this Na'Vi trying to speak her own language, she will admit that she was a bit stunned to hear him even speak it, but she gave a grin off to him. She will admit, it sounded like crap to her, it even gave her a bit time to remember some of the Na'Vi he spoke inbetween. But at least he was trying to give an effort in trying. It seemed that he was astonished by her speaking his language with him asking how she had managed to communicate with him like that, she lightly chuckled at that.
It wasn't too long however until the Na'Vi person had sat down on one of the logs that were nearby the two, and he began to use hand motions for her to come over towards him, and had introduced himself to be Txe'lan... Boy was that going to be a bit of a hassle to remember. None the less, she began to walk towards him, and sat at his right side so he wouldn't have to constantly strain his neck to look over at her, though he would have to always look down at her because of the height difference between the two.
When she had gotten herself comfortable, she had still remembered the question Txe'lan had asked her about how she could speak his language. So she had opened her jacket up, showing her vest inside, and began searching with her left hand as her right hand kept the jacket out of her way. Come on... where is it!? ...Ah! here we go! She mumbled to herself, and had brought out a book which had said in the front of it; "The Pandora Survival Guide", and had handed it over to Txe'lan for him to take a look at it. Tsat lu pefya oe... umm... Tsun... Nume Na'Vi She said, trying to remember not to use those ending letters that some of the lettewrs had, since he wasn't using them very much.

If Txe'lan had to pick one word to describe this Sky Person, he would pick the Na'vi term "lrrtok", meaning she would bring a smile to his face. She could make the effort to learn and speak the language of the Na'vi, and to Txe'lan that was a very promising thing. Up until now he'd never encountered the Sky People much less converse with one, only drawing assumptions from the stories he'd heard from the Tsahik and the stories of his ancestors. He always thought they were greedy, selfish, and opposed to things they did not know (that being the Na'vi people), but this one was surely different. Sure, he'd have to get to know her better, but she was quickly disproving all those things he'd been led to believe. It was definitely a rare opportunity for him, and probably just as much so for her.
Katelyn seemed to take the invitation Txe'lan had offered to come sit on the log by the fire, albeit there was no fire to be sitting next to, so that was a good sign. To get a better view of her as she sat down next to him, Txe'lan draped his left leg over the log so that he would be sitting in a manner as to be facing her, not needing to strain his neck as to compensate for his lack of peripheral vision. Not having two eyes was definitely troublesome, but it wasn't stopping him from doing what he needed to do.
She then produced some little object from her clothing, causing Txe'lan to narrow his one good eye as to keep a keen focus on what she was looking for. For all he knew she could be pulling a concealed weapon, but he wasn't jumping to conclusions. He wanted to know how she could speak the language of the Na'vi, and she seemed to be complying with the request, pulling a little rectangular object from it, one that seemed to open up to reveal little bits of thin material that had little shapes printed in a neat and organized fashion. What was this thing? Writings of the Sky People? Definitely a good thing.
Just one problem; Txe'lan had never seen writings before, and what little he knew of English was merely spoken words.
"Sanume fi'u ne oe... I want... to learn this... your words..."
Txe'lan split the book open down the middle, opening it up to the first page he could understand on his own a little bit; the one with Na'vi words on it. It was kind of sad to think he couldn't read his own language as it was written by the Sky People, but the Na'vi people had no use for writing; their language was ingrained in the memories of their ancestors, and what little he did see of any writings were old and often illegible, but what he did know he could put to use. There was one word in particular he could read from the book, that being "kelku si", meaning "live"; those letters resembled the sound of the word, thus Txe'lan could understand it, but the word next to it was utterly foreign. These Sky People writings were starting to make sense little by little, but for the most part it didn't make sense to him. No matter; he would make every effort to learn it if it meant he would be able to converse with Katelyn and other Sky People in a 'civilized' fashion. Since she needed work on the Na'vi language herself, Txe'lan could help her there. It seemed like a good trade-off, an exchange of knowledge.
"Aynga pllxte fte oe nume, Katelyn."

She knew that this Na'vi was looking at her really oddly and carefull when she had been reaching inside her jacket to get the book for him, though she was cool with it, seeing as she was usually given either the really suspecious look, or the stupid and horny "wonder what's in there." She knew that he was better than that though, seeing as the human species and the Na'vi species almost had a similar body structure, and he didn't seem like one of those that would do a stupid thing like that, or else he would be missing his other eye for it for sure.
To her though when she saw him toying around with the book and trying to examine it's contents, he almost reminded her of a child investigating new things like bugs or something, it was kind of cute to see that in such a way. It was something she almost forgot about while working as a soldier, was that childish youth that was in people when they discovered things. She had lost that feeling when she had been hardened, since you have to expect everything that is going to come, even if you thought of it to never exist in this life, you couldn't just go off and do things like this.
She can tell in his eyes however as he was looking through the book, that it was difficult for him to understand this stuff. She couldn't blame him at all either, it was a killer to try and understand this stuff herself on her own. And even if she knows a bit of it as it is, she is still having a hassle with some of the more complex words to understand. It didn't take Txe'lan too long after trying to understand what he could ( which was probably nothing as the race might not even be able to read or write), and he began speaking out to her again. This time it was much more understandable to her since he was speaking more in the english terms, asking her to teach this to her. Or at least that is what she was getting from the first sentence, the second one was a little confusing except for a word here and there. Either way, she was understanding to where he was trying to get to, and that was getting to understand the language in the book.
Oe mllte, oe... srung aynga Human. Slä! aynga mllte me nume Na'vi...
Katelyn said reassuringly to Txe'lan and a little bit boldly to make him understand that what she was talking about was kind of serious for the two, since it could really help one another out during these times. Heck, it could help everyone from the different sides if they managed to cooperate properly and in a civilized matter. But some weren't like that for their stupidity.
Though just to make sure that this Na'vi was going to keep his trust, Katelyn had taken off her mask around the mouth area, and spat right into the palm of her hand, and brought her mask down. She handed her hand over to Txe'lan with a stern look on her face while she looked up at the Na'vi.

There was such excitement in the air that Txe'lan's nerve cord from the back of his hair was beginning to tingle with anticipation. The thought that he was going to learn the language of the Sky People in-depth was a thrilling prospect, and on the flipside he was going to be able to teach one of the Sky People to speak the language of the Na'vi in return. Diplomatic relations would be sure to improve with this development, but then there was the matter of trying to sell the notion to the rest of the Omaticaya people. After what happened three centuries ago, such scars usually never healed; it was going to be difficult, but with all difficult things, time was the best medicine.
It seemed that Txe'lan had the situation under control. He meant no harm to this Sky Person and she seemed to get the message, not showing any hostility in return. Txe'lan had expressed the desire to learn the language of the Sky People, and Katelyn seemed to understand, but he couldn't read the book she'd brought with her that would've explained the language to her; he was pretty sure there was a way to translate his language to that of her's somewhere in that book of writings, but once again, Txe'lan being illiterate was blocked from that information. How troublesome.
Then Katelyn did something unusual, at least something else Txe'lan had never seen before. Instead of directly obliging Txe'lan's request, she proposed a deal; Katelyn would teach Txe'lan to speak the Sky People's "Human" language, and in return Txe'lan would teach her to speak as one of the Na'vi, but not just bits and pieces as opposed to fluently. It seemed like a good deal to Txe'lan; they both had something to gain, and nothing to lose, so, being the reasonable spirit he was, decided to accept.
As she held out her hand with a bit of water from her mouth on it, Txe'lan hesitated for a moment whether to imitate what she did and touch her hand with watered skin of his own or not, thinking that it could be poisonous to make contact with something like that. In the end, Txe'lan decided to copy her behavior, dabbing the palm of his left hand with the tip of his tongue and matching it to hers, finding no harm in performing the action. Then it clicked in his mind that this was some sort of pact, something he could definitely agree to.
"Tslolam, Katelyn."
Then Txe'lan's ear twitched to a noise not far off. That was not a good sign, as there were still base facts that couldn't be ignored; she was a Sky Person in the heart of the Na'vi home, and if she was caught she would be in big, big trouble. Txe'lan handed her book back to her, getting up off the log and offering his hand to help her up off of the log.
"Za'u, fistenge ke zongsteng; ayoeng zene rikx," said Txe'lan, indicating that they needed to move to a safer location. This conversation would have to continue at another time.

Katelyn was just as excited as Txe’lan probably was right now from the look on his face. It was nice to see things eye to eye on certain situations like these, since it was one of the greatest things for a species to witness and even experience with one another, if only an entire race could feel and act that way towards another race, no matter how different they were.
But still, making a companionship with another different species was just a thrill for her to experience all on its own in her thoughts. Heck, making a new friend was just a great feeling for her to have in her heart right now, as all of her military friends were either on other shuttles, or had died from the impact of the crashing shuttle.
It was sad, life. Things were either so difficult to try to accomplish, and yet so darn fragile to make sure you don't screw-up, it was so complicated to understand what can hurt you and others, and then the things that just don't matter. It was only simple threads in-between different species that can break very quickly under the pressure of other. However, they can add more threads dealing with knowlegde and cooperation to create a rope of bondage for others. That was what she wanted, that was what others wanted, though you can only go by one thread at a time to make sure it is sturdy.
She was broken out of her little thoughts however, when she felt something covering her hand, and looked down to see what it was. It was Txe'lan's hand that had lightly grasped hers in a shake, and she smiled at that as she gripped his firmly, yet in a gentle matter, even if it was barely her fingertips that had came over his hand, it still showed that their deal was sealed in a promise.
This feeling of official friendship did not last for a long as she wanted it to last, for it seemed that Txe'lan could hear something that she was not able to. It worried her a little bit, and began searching around the area from the log she was sitting on. She knew that her presense would not as welcomed as Txe'lans, and she knew she had to scurry out of here before any trouble was made here.
She looked back at Txe'lan as he had handed the book back to her, and had put it in the inside pocket of her jacket before zipping it up again. Again she looked up at the Na'vi as he began to speak to her, some of the words she could not understand very well, but she knew exactly what he was trying to tell her.
With a nod of her head, she had picked up her belt that she had put on the log, and strapped it tightly to her waist, it would be horrible if she had forgotten it and another Na'vi found it. Then she had walked over to her combat suit, where she began to climb on it until she had gotten into the cockpit, where she began to press a few of the buttons on the main contols board. It didn't take too long for the cockpit window to close into its proper place, and for the fresh oxygen to filter inside, allowing her to take off the mask off her face. Then she began to fit into her boots and put on the gloves to allow movement of the machine's arms, and wiggled her fingers a little once they were on, causing to machine to do the same movements as she was making. Seeing as the machine was still in fine condition, Katelyn knealt down a little bit to get to Txe'lan's view point, since it was more proper as she had those capabilities to do so.
"Za'u, oe omum... tsegpe... oeng tsun... nume." She spoke out to Txe'lan, and began to turn around and walk the direction that she had came from, she even had a map incase if she was lost, but she wasn't going to say that tom him since there was no need.

Txe'lan, as much as he didn't appreciate having such a golden moment ruined by something such as superstition and fear of danger, had to swallow a big cautionary pill if he wanted to salvage this situation. Home Tree was where he felt comfortable learning something new as he was in a familiar environment, but that wouldn't happen when there was a Sky Person involved. The Omaticaya clan didn't want anything more to do with Sky People after what happened three centuries ago as they still thought they hadn't changed their ways. Txe'lan thought differently, but he was one of only many Na'vi that held true to his belief that the Sky People were very versatile and could thus be different than back then.
He was glad that Katelyn had taken the warning well as she began to react accordingly. However, her decision to get into her metal suit wasn't the brightest idea. Even though most of the Omaticaya were asleep, something as loud as her metal suit was probably loud enough to rouse most of the clan; though they slept, they still had the sensitivity in their ears comparable to that of a human cat. Txe'lan was pretty sure even those metal suits were loud to the Sky People themselves, and it would definitely leave tracks; he could tell that much just by the way she got into it and it started moving. This was going to be tough to get away without leaving something for other Na'vi to follow...
Then Txe'lan heard her speak as she knelt down to him in her metal suit. It was funny to think that when she was just a Sky Person without her suit Txe'lan had to adjust himself to look down upon her, and now with her suit she had to look down upon him. Oh yeah, that was an odd one; these Sky People were definitely worth learning about. Nodding his head in approval, Txe'lan jogged at a decent pace to keep up with the long strides of her metal suit's legs, using his non-dominant foot to drag across her suit's tracks where he was able to and using his dagger to cut some extra foliage to cover up where she'd walked in brush. For good measure, he took his bow off of his person and had it in hand, just in-case anyone tried to follow the both of them, though he doubted that they would as his track-covering was decent enough to blank out enough details as to sway Na'vi trackers into thinking a giant animal had wandered its way into Home Tree.
"Kllfriyo' Katelyn; ra'a txing pxay sutx!" Txe'lan said so that she could hear him in her suit; he wasn't going to cover up all of her tracks by himself, and being a hunter this was a hard thing to ignore. Txe'lan wouldn't leave tracks himself, but he would always have to follow in her wake in order to destroy the important details left behind by her suit.
Now it was up to her to lead the way... [Topic Left]

It was difficult to control things on her giant hunk of metallic power, even if she did tend to upgrade most of it on her own, especially since she didn't have the keen hearing of a Na'vi. So it was pretty difficult for her to understand what was quiet for herself, and what was quiet for these cat-men. Even so, she did what she could to keep the gears from grinding on one another so much by moving just by moving a bit slower here and there, and boy did it get annoying for her really fast. She never like the sound of slow screeching metal herself, and it was probably the worst thing to try and sleep over that annoying sound, and so she had no choice but to walk at the normal pace she had been going at in the first place. But then Txe'lan had began to yell something out at her, of course she couldn't very well understand what he was yelling out at her, so she turned over to tell him to be quieter. It was a bit funny and ironic, since he was the one that had been telling her to be the quiet one around, while he had been yelling at her. When she had turned around though, she realized what he had been yelling about. The ground had been taking her footsteps here and there, and the Na'vi was doing what he could to cover up her tracks. She began to feel a little bit guilty that she wasn't being so careful about that, and that he was trying to clean up after her. "Whoops... sorry Txe'lan..."She said a little bit of a shallow tone of voice, and had turned back forwards once more, and had clicked a couple of more buttons, causing her fingertips and the front-side of her feet to release sharp claws. Now these were usually used for either offensive situations, or for climbing reasons, but this was going to be used for something newer for her. Though it was kind of difficult since she had to walk on her tips for the time being, which made her stumble a few times here and there, but besides that, she was pretty fine the rest of the way, or at least she was hoping she would be fine the rest of the way. It seemed that she had rested her eyes a little too long judging from the map that she was using, for the base seemed to be quite a distance away from wherever the heck the two really were at. Well, this was going to be one heck of a walk, at least she herself was prepared for a walk like this, or... At least she hoped she was that is.
