This planet just seemed to get more and more weird and everyone kept asking Ethan how the hell they landed there and why he did not steer them away. Of course, no one seems to realize that it was Jaxin who was the captain of the ship when they got sucked into the gravitational pull of the planet and Ethan merely tried to help him avoid it; still, no one believed him because Jaxin had died on impact. Their supply of oxygen was low, since most of it was generated on the shuttle and now he had to find a way to harness that science and make more of those oxygen masks so people can go outside. It was not like they really wanted to go out, especially after reading all those journals about the Na'vi and the creatures on Pandora, but he had to give the people what they wanted, right?
Muttering to himself, he put on his mask and made his way over to the abandoned ship to start scouring for some useful tools. Some people were already in there, looking for their lost valuables or some things they could use in the base. There were a couple scavengers, those who were low class that thought that finding a few necklaces would increase their worth on this planet, but it was no longer measured by income of employment, now your brains and your guts determined where you stood on Pandora. He watched a few of them walk away from the mess of personal items when they recognized who he was, but he would let the wealthy deal with that, it was not his job to interfere.
"Captain Raid, we've pulled the oxygen columns from the ship, we're just now uploading the data to transfer it to base," one of the flight staff piped up when the Captain walked by. She was one of those little ones who tried her hardest to be noticed. Ethan was already aware that the crew had taken the columns and were uploading the data, but she wanted to make sure the task had her name on it and she was given credit. Some of these crew members just made him chuckle...
"Good job, Jennsi," he nodded, simply acknowledging her would meet her goal and she smiled and went back to her work while Ethan began to walk around the column shafts, looking for anything specific that they were forgetting. This air made it nearly impossible to have a good cigar, but he would have one once this was all finished, sort of like his own pat on the back.

Evelyn bounced around the groups of people that were out looking at things from their ruined ship. She was in her avatar form, which was probably the reason for some of the stares. But she didn’t care most of the time Eve loved being in her avatar form more then being a human. Though she knew eventually she would have to go back to her human body or whatever. Eve was still unclear about the whole process. To be honest she knew nothing about it when she signed up for the program. It was pretty much a trade, study the interaction of the Na’vi for the ability to be in the avatar program. At the time it seemed like a fair trade. Now not so much. Evelyn felt she was getting more out of the trade them the crew was. Oh well, she wasn’t about to say anything. Especially since the crew might push her to do more then what she was already doing. Evelyn was having fun slacking off and just roaming about the planet. Adventure seemed to be around every corner. Unlike here at the ship, where it was almost sad.
Thinking back to the moment when the ship crashed, of which she was asleep during. Eve would have liked anything to be awake and try to stop it. To think she could be with her cousin and the others on Twirkth. And her brother would still be alive. The only family she had on the ship was gone. And now she was alone, though not really since there were others who lost people as well. But it felt that way, all the time. It was the one thing that stopped her from fully falling in love with this planet. She loathed the planet and the captain who crashed the ship. And she didn’t hide that fact either. And neither did some other people as well. Yet Eve still felt like she was alone. The woman always felt that way, since she was born. No matter how many times her cousin and she would hang out. She felt alone and out of place. Though the feeling was numbed with she was in her avatar form. It was odd.
Evelyn quickly rounded the shaft columns and ran into the one person she really didn’t want to see. Ever. Falling back, she quickly got back up again before moaning. He couldn’t have picked a worse spot to stand in. What the hell was he even doing just standing there? Eve rarely spent time around the crew and ship she never really knew what was going on with them all. And never really wanted to know. Though it was fun to steal from them right under their noses. Just like everyone else in the world. “Ow,” Eve groaned, she wasn’t about to apologize. It was her fault that they collided into each other. But Evelyn wasn’t the type to apologize to anyone.

He was in the middle of checking an energy activator when something slammed into him and bounced back. Slightly confused and a little frustrated, Ethan looked over at the girl. It was not a normal looking girl. In fact, she must have been part of the new avatar program with surgical enhancements. While she still looked human, certain things were different. A girl with initiative. While Ethan was not really one to talk much to people, especially the avatar program simply because they tend to rant on about how humans are the cause of all strife on Pandora, he figured he owed her a short conversation, after all, they did make contact, even if it hurt a little.
"Are you ok, there?" He attempted to offer his hand to hoist her up, but she was up in an instant. "You should watch where you're going next time. Why were you moving so quickly in the first place?" he asked. His attention was still on her, although occassionally, his eyes would wander back to the energy activator to try to figure out how to regenerate most of the base using the energy from the ship. So much damage was done to the ship though that it was hard to simply unplug it from Olympus and plug it into the base.
The worst part about figuring out how to regenerate the base would be the time difference. This base was quite older and the technology was different. Although Ethan had studied some of it during his education, he did not study it to this extent. He only used such technology when he was short on resources and needed to make do with the little he had. "I see that the avatar program has been making progress, how do the modifications feel?" he asked, scanning over her partially Na'vi body in pure scientific interest.
