The day had been quite nice, the sky had no cloud looming over to make it look depressting, and the sun did not scorch the land or the creatures that resided in the jungle lands, with a light and crisp breeze that quietly went through the lands that caused a nice chill to go down your spine.Yes, today was one of those perfect days, and that was a very good thing for Tskxe, for his sake anyways, for he had promised his little girl, Kelku si, that he would take her out for a stroll after his duties of guarding were done. And that promise he did for sure keep with him.
Walking through the forestland with the only things that he had on him were his spear that he used as a walking stick, and the bow constructed of that of the wood of Home Tree with arrows all ready to be used if any sort of comotion happened when he was around. He did not wear very much on him, only the usual loin cloth that men always wore, and wore a satchel incase of any injury or requirement needed.
Right beside him though was a little female Na'vi child that just pranced on around her father while singing tunes that she most likely learned from her mother and the singers around Omaticaya, occasionally grsping one of her father's hands with her own and telling him to hurry up, and he would just give out an amused laugh in the back of his throat and walked a little quicker to keep his little girl satisfied.
Eventually however, they had reached a clearing, and that was very unusual indeed seeing that it was an entire jungle, it could just cover itself up quickly, right? That was what most would think of course, but the Na'vi knew of this place quite well, and had known what had resided in these lands that were filled with grass. tskxe just stared at the open space of land with both disappointment and utter disgust, it was horrible to see how such creatures could hurt the land in which Eywa had given them, especially when it was those selfish Sky People.
"Daddy... Daddy, what is this place?"
His trance was broken when he heard his daughter's words flow to his ear, an looked down at her as she looked up at him with curious eyes, and so bent down and told her the truth, she would have found out anyways by the Tree of Souls if they ever got to her mind through the bond.
"This Place."
He began with a bit of a down tone in his voice.
"Was where we could freely listen to the the voices of our ancestors and hear what they could hear throughout their lives... But, it had been destroyed centuries back, by the Sky People that had came here before us."
He could tell from his daughters eyes that she was hurt to hear that bit of news, but it turned to anger shortly after, knowing that these Sky People had ruined their lands before these second ones had come aroinf on their lands once more. But Tskxe's expressions had still stayed the same as before when looking at Kelku si, that was until he heard the snapping of a twig, causing both heads to quickly turn into that direction, and making Tskxe's instincts kick in.
"Kelku si! Go hide in the brush until I tell you it's OK!"
He said sternly as well nervously as he pointed to the opposite side of where the the sound had emitted, his daughter quickly looking back at him as he gave the order.
But dad-
That was when she saw the scared look in his eyes, he was worried that whatever was going to come was going to be dangerous for them and could as well be merciless to them as well. She just slowly nodded her head at him and ran off into the brush, hiding her body withing the numerous colorful plants that were around, at least she would be safe for now. Bringing up his spear, he held it with both hands and kept it close to his chest to show no sort of offensive manuvers incase this was a Na'vi walking around, but he would for sure attack if it was something different from his species.
