Current Occupation: Research. Rachael was one of the first to try to become a Na'vi and works extensively one the program. Her next surgery is scheduled soon.

History:

• At the young age of 8 years old, Rachael's father died.
  
• When she was 10, their family ran out of money and had to move out of the city life and into the rural state of Wyoming.
  
• When she was 11, her mother remarried and she got a new sister.
  
• When she began high school, her grandmother moved in and helped her with her classes.
  
• When her brother turned 21, he married and moved away, leaving Rachael with her mother and the step father.
  
• On Rachael's 16th birthday, her step-father bought her a car.
  
• A few months later, she was admitted to an internship as a nurse at the local hospital.
  
• College began at 18 and she moved to New Jersey to begin school.
  
• She began to become a doctor for humanoid sciences but got too caught up in the party school and dropped out.
  
• She moved in with her brother and his wife in New York and got a job as a server at a restaraunt.
  
• When she had the money and settled down some, she attended the University of Phoenix and became a nurse for humanoids.
  
• When everyone was being sent to another planet, Rachael was thrilled and got on the ship Olympus to take flight.
  
• When it crashed and the new Avatar program became available, she immediately signed up.
  
• Her first surgery was painful but she recovered and now has the body form of a Na'vi, just not the color or the bond.
  
• She scheduled her next surgical appointment but wanders into the forest on occasion.

Personality: Rachael is rather complicated. She's a strong willed person but she can be easily swayed another way by pure peer pressure. In college, she was in love with a boy who was able to make her do whatever he wanted, which ruined her chances at being a doctor. Since then, she has always felt less inclined to let anyone that close to her. When someone wants her to do something, force will actually make her stand her ground more, she does not react to violence. However, a simple please and thank you and a few eyelash batting would make her come around and do what was asked of her. That would be why she could never be in the military.

She is extremely proud of her work but her low self-confidence keeps her from sharing it with people due to possible criticism. Instead, she does most of her communication of her ideas through writing because it allows her to slow herself down and write out everything that is on her mind, allowing her to go back and edit parts out that she should not say. She is a kind, sweet and caring person and always wishes the best for people, but she does have her moments of emotional turmoil for not being on a planet she understands.
Feelings toward the Na'vi: curious. She does not view them as little creatures who never learned the true way of the humans, rather, she looks at them as humans themselves, just a less developed civilization and it makes her curious. She wants to learn more about these Na'vi and learn why they never attempted to make any sort of technology.
Feelings about Pandora: The only stories Rachael had heard about Twirth was that it was like Earth, except less populated. Pandora is hardly anything like Earth and living on a different planet is truely astonding and curious, she would rather her family lived her and experienced a new world than simply migrating to a different Earth.
Response to Authority: No problem at all so long as she is asked politely to do something instead of yelled at.
Aspirations: communication and peace with the Na'vi, she wants to learn how to keep humans alive on this planet so her friends do not have to wear oxygen masks anymore
