It wasn’t early in the morning, but noon was some hours away, and that was when Tul’Na’Ring was finally ready for the day. She had eaten, bathed and all stretched out for the day, she finally felt like herself and was ready to begin the day.
Squatting down at a pale of water she picked up a leaf and scooped up some water. Taking a slow sip she let it run to her mouth and down her throat. The cool water felt so good and with the last gulp she set the leaf down and let it unroll on the ground. Standing up she arched her back and moved her hips to the left and right, giving herself a little stretch.
With a sway to her hips she walked over to a small stone and used it to rest her feet on it and squatted down in a small circle. Looking about she watched her people. The children were running about, playing around, having fun. Her eyes settled on a boy running up to his sister, with a branch in his hand he rang it by her ear, making her squirm at being tickled.
Lowering her chin on her arms that were crossed over her knees she watched as they played a little together. Once they were leaving Tul’Na’Ring turned her head and looked forward at the forest. A part of her wanted to run until the pain of losing her own brother was gone. A part of her wanted to retreat into the safety of the natural predators out there, and live with no more reminders of who she lost. But those options would never work. She had tried, just about everything, but every once in a while the emotions of the memories take her heart spindling down to a pit.
Tilting her head up she squinted as the sun entered her eyes and she watched the sky above. So far today hadn’t been exciting, perhaps it could pick up and she would smile.

It was just plain old dull days for Tswayon, even if it was earliar in the day as it was today. His mood just had one of those edges where they didn't want him to fly on this day he had been set with, and he had no choice but to listen to this annoying mood if he wanted to keep what was left of his hide, the giant scar driving across his back was the last warning for when he had the moods such as these and did not listen to them.
Even if he did listen to it, he just hated it's guts for it. Flying was where he was the top of his game, where you could actually feel like you are free from all stress and agony than what you usual get from standing too long on the ground, where you can get hurt more easier than flying through the endless void of the skies around you. That wasn't the case for today it seemed, he just had to wait out the feeling in his gut to fade away and allow him to be able to go on his Ikran once more.
Usually he would go to the roots of Hometree, the base of the very place where he had grown up in, to calm himself down from any issues thnatr he was having, it did of course help him out a few days before when he had met Mokri'Law to help him out with the cut on his hand, which was nothing but a scab on his hand as it was.
While he was coming down towards the roots however, he had witnessed a Na'vi of course, but she seemed to be a bit... Upset in such a way that her body position showed it off. Having a heart for those who had pity, he had walked casually over to this female in a matter that showed he meant nothing personal against her until he had gotten to her side.
"Excuse me, but is something troubling you, miss?"
He asked politely with the look of concern on his face while he held the spear he had carved a few days before firmly in his hand. Now, he did have the look of a fearless hunter with him just with the two gashes on his right shoulder and the half-torn right ear that showed his toughness just by looking in the front of him. Though a smile on his face had usually relaxed people of his strong stature, especially if it was the opposite gender that knew him quite well.

Feeling a shadow over where she was gazing up at the sky the young Na’vi looked up at the young man. The spear first caught her eyes and the look in her eyes was almost accepting a challenge. But the man’s face said he had wanted no harm to her, the look faded, but the young warrior was on guard for anything. Truthfully she partially knew that she had nothing to worry about, but her, animal instincts, her knowledge and love of the wild life in the forest knew just how bad life could be.
Standing up she turned on the rock with precise grace. ”I am fine, only memories playing in my head. I am Tul’Na’Ring, who may you be?“ She had ended her sentence with a tilt of her head, curiosity playing on her face as well as her body.
Taking a step down from the stone her height lowered and soon she was clearly seen as shorter than the young man. But she still stood tall and showed that she would back down from nothing. A strong young lady yes, but she still had nothing to fear from this young man.

Tswayon had began to shift his concerned face into one that seemed to be calmed and amused after hearing the Na'vi's words that she said that she was fine before standing up which had showed her slender grace to him. It was always good to know that someone was fine with a smile drawn on their face, and it just felt better whenever it was yourself that had caused them to smile in such a matter.
However, it still worried him what she had said about the memories playing in her head, it usually brought different feelings to people if something like that was happening. Sure he knew that it was not polite to be nosing through someone else's probems, especially if they were dealing with the past. But some past memories were just like the different types of saps from trees, as some of them stick longer to you than other, either of them being good or bad.
Though he pushed that thought out of his mind for the time being when the female had began to introduce herself to be called by the name of Tul'Na'Ring, and had asked him for his name with the hint of curiosity creating an aura around the female as he had looked down at her for this Na'vi was shorter than that of his own height, as most of the females of the clan were compared to him.
"Nice to meet you, and know your well-being is safe. I am Tswayon."
He said as he put his left hand onto the center of his chest with a smile on his face as a respectable position to give a hello back, especially to that of the opposite gender, which had indeed caused a number of females to be attracted by him, but there was already one that he had been choosing for a while now, he just never did have the guts to admit it. His smile however, could not hide the fact that his tail had been showing the signs of uncertainty as it had twitched around the tip a little, for the thoughts of what the memories that the female had with her, it just got him concerned was merely it.

The morning had dawned bright and beautiful. Marali laid cocooned in her sleep hammock for several minutes after her eyes opened. She prayed quietly to Eywa, asking for a bountiful forever. She thanked Eywa for the life of her sister, who slept in a hammock beside hers. In the dappled sunshine of the morning, her sister looked very much like her. The patterns on her face were different, perhaps, but the facial structure was becoming more and more similar. Ahh, well. Time to awaken. For real.
She pulled back the hammock with a graceful motion and swung up onto the branch above her with expert ease. It was on mornings like this that she missed the constant company of her parents. Now, they lived in another part of Hometree. They had a nesting platform, which they shared with Marali's two youngest sisters. Suddenly, she missed them painfully. But she didn't have time for a visit this morning. She needed to begin her daily routine, and quickly, before she got off track. She hopped to her feet and pranced down the sturdy branch, waving graciously to those she passed.
She lighted down on a larger branch and then into the heart of Hometree. She found her way to the roots, and to water. She splashed on her face and shoulders and drank from is to refresh herself. This was when the day would really begin. She needed to continue working on her Ikran bond. Tsanten had been acting up recently. But as the light played in, trickling down to the roots of her home, she found herself unable to become motivated. There was something missing. She realized she hadn't taken a break from life for some time.
Her golden eyes rested on a pair of young Na'vi, off to the side. They looked familiar, of course, but she could not place their names. Intimated, she almost didn't approach, but introduced herself before she thought twice and ran away. They seemed to be giving introductions of their own.
"Not to intrude, but I am Marali. Have I been with the two of you before? The pair of you look familiar."
