Build: Thin but curvy in a way that used to get her great tips back on Earth. She has a little muscle on her body, mostly from boxing and tennis (her old hobbies) but is still lithe enough to be feminine. She’s not overly tall but has long legs and an overall model-like physique.

History:
Monty was raised by a single Mother in a dingy, downtown apartment in New York. She went to school like everyone else though had to live a slightly harder life. As a child she had to go without the newest clothes or the ‘in’ toys. She was a bit of an outcast and tended to stick to herself with only her best friend, Allen for company. When she hit junior high things went uphill and down. First, Allen moved away, halfway across the country. The plus side? Monty’s mother won some money and the two were able to buy a nice house. Junior high was a fresh start for Monty and she used it to the best of her ability, making friends with the popular groups, wearing the clothes her mother could now afford. Things went well, she was flunking out of math, but she was soring with English class. Then she started taking Spanish, French and German. She caught on unbelievably fast and immediately knew that that was something she wanted. She loved languages, loved learning them. So she made her efforts in those classes, trying to score top marks.
High school came next for Monty and she continued her courses as she did through junior high. She took on Italian as well and passed French before she entered her Junior year. She grew up as well, her body filling out from the lanky pre-teen she was into a curvy, beautiful brunette. Guys started turning their heads when she walked down the hall and she quite enjoyed it. She had a few boyfriends, nothing overly serious and none of them lasted all that long. After graduating she was forced to spend a year upgrading her dismal math marks before she could apply for university. When she did finally apply, she got in and started studying languages, she already was able to speak French, Spanish, Italian and German and was dishing Latin, Russian, Chinese and Swedish onto her plate. She took other classes too, one on other cultures and a Sociology class. To help pay back her mother for the University loans Monty got a job as a waitress at a dingy diner.
Then the problems started. She was convinced by her mother to board a ship and leave earth. It took a while but Monty eventually gave in and went along with her mother. When the ship went down, her mother was killed, leaving the twenty-four year old alone in the world with only her dog. She was miserable (rightly so) until she was approached. A scientist working on the Avatar project had heard about her talent of tongues and wanted to apply her talent in the field. Monty figured she had nothing to lose and agreed without a moment’s hesitation.----------------------------------------------The Present----------------------------------------------

Personality:
The good: Monty is overall, a pretty nice person. She wouldn’t go out of her way to hurt someone and is the first to apologize for actions. She’s level headed and cool, knowing when is the right time to panic and when panic is inappropriate. She’s very mature, despite those she hung around with through senior high and in university. She looks before she leaps and knows when to take a hint. She’s brave too (unless it has to do with heights) and will generally not shy away from any preposition or offer. She’s easily excited but doesn’t let that show, keeping a cool, distant and almost shy nature to herself. She’s loyal too, once you get on her good side she’ll never let you down and be there until the end. She’s not a huge speaker (ironic that she studies languages) so she’s very good at listening, whether you need an ear or are just speaking to her. She’s affectionate and loves to please people. When Monty speaks she only says what needs to be said, she won’t ramble in your ear for half an hour about nothing. Problem is, the more comfortable around you she gets, the more she talks and allows her more hidden, happy, sweet, sarcastic personality out.
The bad: Everyone has bad traits and Monty has more than a few. For starters, she lacks self confidence. Like a lot. She doubts herself at any given moment though for your sake will try to ignore it. You ask her to do something, she’ll do it but the whole time thinks she’s about to fail. She doesn’t panic often, but when she does slap her fast because she gets out of control. The same goes for her temper, when she’s angry she usually just gets quieter and sulks but if you put a toe over a particular line she will explode (and it’s not a pretty picture). She doesn’t usually stand up for herself, being quite submissive but that could change on the situation. She’s often too kind for her own good, taking light of people’s good features rather than making note of the bad ones. Another thing is that she’s afraid to be herself. She feels the need to fill other people’s shoes and act how people want her to, she always has and doesn’t even realize it herself. When she does be herself, she’s laughing, fun and sweet, a reverse of the quiet, reserved Monty most people know.
Feelings toward the Na'vi: Monty is ridiculously excited about meeting the Na’vi. She’s always had a knack and passion for other cultures and languages and Pandora offers something of her wildest dreams.
Feelings about Pandora: Monty is wary as she should be about her new home, but also finds it beautiful and enchanting.
Response to Authority: Monty is very submissive, therefore listens and acts as she should.
Aspirations: None actually… Monty’s sort of lost without her mother’s guidance and loves Pandora. She wants to continue her education, but doesn’t want to leave the beautiful place behind.
Special Talents:
- Language learning (I’ve said this a lot). Monty can learn any language she sets her mind to and loves it.
- Reading. Monty has a photographic memory you could say.
- Responding to situations. Monty is very good at quickly figuring out a situation and reacting to it appropriately.

[/color][/font] After her surgery Monty developed three things: The first was the blue skin, simple enough right? The next was the tail (something she both likes and hates at the same time. She thinks it’s rather cool but finds it awkward to control). The final thing is the bonding hair, she’s neutral about this feature at the moment. Avatar Height:[/color][/font] Just over six feet.
Pandora Connection:[/color][/font] Monty has only recently been modified and let loose to go mingle therefore has only just started to try and communicate. However, her practice and studies have helped her pick up the language itself quickly, it’s more getting her mouth around the word she’s having trouble with.
