Play By / Face Claim: Because I believe that even the Na’vi need a face I chose an actress for Kachina. Imagine Alicia Keys appearance but with Na’vi characteristics applied.
Color of Ikran: Her Ikran is rather beautiful. The wings are purple with black intricate designs on them. Toward the tip there are white dots. After the dots there is another rim of purple and then at the tips of the wings there is a border of the most delicately beautiful white.
The body of her Ikran is black but starting at the tail there are rings around it of alternating white and purple.

Brief Description of Personality: China is the Princess but she's also very rebellious at times. She has a mind of her own and if she believes in something she would be willing to disobey her father in order to carry out the task. Perhaps she is so rebellious 'because' she is the Princess. She doesn't want the others to think that she's not just like them.
She's very tender hearted and perhaps to easily fooled by the deceptions of others. Her weakness is for the children of her people. She spends much time with them, especially with the newborns. Her desire is to have children of her own and she could do without the whole marrying thing because of the fact that her father will choose who she will marry. China believes whole-heartedly that love for her should come naturally and not forced through arrangement.
She has a fascination with humans but at the same time she's very cautious and apprehensive about them.
Kachina feels a very strong bond to Eywa. Anything that happens to the land physically she can feel it within her own body. She’s very spiritual, spending much time talking to Eywa and venturing through the forests. It’s here that she feels the strongest and the most relaxed.

History
History
Kachina was born on one long summer's evening. The temperature was still very hot but the full moon and the fact that she was born on this night made the temperature easy to deal with and needless to say... 'perfect'. All waited in expectation of the new Na'vi child. The wait was all worth it. China was simply beautiful, the finest looking of all the Na'vi. Her parents were very proud.
When she was a child she was taught all of the etiquette of that of her station in life. Since she's the princess everything that she learned was mandatory that she put into practice, everything from how she was to behave, her manner of speaking and so on. China grew tired of this, hence likely her reason for being more than a little rebellious.
She was also educated regarding the history of her people and of their planet. China learned about the sky-people and the experience / tragedy that was thrust upon them at that time and how it took many years to be ironed out. It took time for the planet to heal as it did her people but still she came to respect that not all humans were bad. After all there were some good Na'vi and some bad as well. She believed that one could not exist without the other and that never would there be a time without even the tiniest bit of negative.
Kachina went through rough times as all teenagers do. She got into trouble while with her friends and so forth. The only thing that kept her semi-grounded was the fact that she had a very close relationship with her father. He saw the adult that she would one day be and he always put faith in her, molding her with his very own sessions of bonding with his daughter. At these times he would talk to her about the most important things, especially so because one day she may be the leader of the people.
Once she was on the verge of becoming an adult she felt that she was ready and so she enlisted in the trials that every Na'vi was expected to pass when leaving the world of childhood behind and entering into adulthood. She passed it with flying colors, save for the time when she had to choose her Ikran. Kachina had trouble bonding with one particular animal, thinking way too much about it instead of just listening to her heart. But then like a swift kick in the stomach she found him and he found her. He boldly sauntered up to her as if he were giving her a challenge. Yim was rather large but for some reason this did not intimidate the female.
Her union with her Ikran was a grueling task but eventually they truly found each other. China named him Yìm [jɪm], which means bind. Forever they were bound to each other, flying as one whenever the need may call for it and even in times of pure fun. Never has she felt such a bond as strong as this. The broken ribs and wrist was worth such a union.
About six months have passed since she bonded with Yim. Nothing very interesting was happening as of late. Kachina wondered if things were always going to be this boring, she being hungry of adventure. After all she was young and very spirited. She would spend days with the hunting parties and just spending time alone with Eywa but what she enjoyed, more then she probably should, was spying on the humans. China even began to take notice of the male population of her clan, none really interesting her yet. She didn’t feel much of a bond with any of them, feeling that the bond with one of the opposite gender would feel as strong as the one she feels with her animals but in a different way.
At the present this was where Kachina stands with the people. She would sleep, eat, hunt, watch the humans and search for a mate. This would of course go against what the tradition was but she was determined to fall in love on her own and without the prearranged marriage law. Part of her though just felt like giving up in her search. Her future was so uncertain, especially so since the traditions of her people were so strong. Would she have the strength to go against them? What if she liked the male that they picked for her? This was all so confusing to her. She longed for structure. She longed to know her future.

Kachina danced through the forest like a bee that was flying from one flower to another. She loved everything the Eywa had to offer her by way of everything intricate in design. The colors fascinated her, so much so that she'd lie on the forest floor for hours just to watch everything that surrounded her. Many times her parents had to send scouts out looking for her. She tended to get into trouble all too often but it was all worth it for just few hours feeling as one with the life that surrounded her. It was always good to stop and smell the roses, so to speak.
Eventually the femme would get up and walk to another spot in the forest, some parts thicker than others. Some days she'd wander to close to humans that were clearly investigating her planet. Silently she admitted that they fascinated her and not at all did she think that they were ugly as most of her people thought. They were just different. China always rejoiced in the unique things in life. But then again she was always the rather rebellious female. Her parents would tell her not to do something and this made her want to do it all the more. She giggled with such thoughts.
After a while of gazing upon the humans at work Kachina stuck two fingers in between her lips and whistled for Yim. Their strong bond caused him to come to her aid. China rewarded him with affection and then soon enough they were in union via the end of her long braid to his. The femme curled her toes around the stirrups of the saddle that was always on Yim. With a wave of her hand, as if she were riding a bucking horse, they were up in the air. It was beyond her capability to leave well enough alone. China and her Ikran began to swoop down upon the humans, her large golden eyes investigating what was going on in 'her' forest. What were the humans up to now?
