Katelyn didn't know how long it was since her and Txe'lan had been walking for, it felt like hours now judging by how much forest that they had to walk through, and she didn't really take a look at her watch before the two had to leave the bonfire pit where they had just recently met one another. It was kind of a pity that they had to leave however, they were really going on about their little agreements, and they could have gotten to know more about one another, despite them sometimes not fully knowing about what the other person was saying at times. Heck, sometimes it just didn't matter very much when you didn't understand that the other one was saying, you can just understand them by many other ways to just know what they are telling you.
At least, that was what she was able to understand from the Na'vi that was walking right beside her, Txe'lan was the name of him, and it wasn't a name she was soon going to forget. He was a really nice person from what she could understand, and seemed to be quite calm as well gentle with her, that was something that she very rarely got as a soldier, which was quite a very sad thing for her. But she was not in the army at this time, she was living her life while she could for who knows for how long, and at least she was making some companionships with the natives.
It was nice to have some time with someone knew, and it was always good to get to know someone that wasn't from the same species, that was probably the most important part for this little agreement the two had made with one another. It might help with each race to get to know one another a bit better this time instead of what may have happened around three hundred years ago when the giant war had happened on this very planet, all because of the human's selfish greed for wealth. That couldn't happen like that again, but how could it happen again? They came here by accident, not to rob from this planet's minerals once again, so how could there be any sort of history repeating itself?
With all this racing around inside of her head, it seemed to quicken the time for her, for after a few steps later after thinking about it, she had pushed away some of the plants to realize that they were at Olympus, and finally too. Her legs were sort of killing her now, and she just wanted to get out of her suit and get her baggy clothes off, she was already beginning to sweat a little inside of this machine, and the warm climate did not help very much. She looked down a bit at Txe'lan to see if her was alright at the time, but it wouldn't matter too much now, since they only needed to walk about a hundred feet now.
Ke alìm... now, za'u.
She told him happily, though she checked the surroundings first to make sure no one was around at the time, but no human would be stupid enough to wonder around in the night alone, it was a miracle that she survived herself. With luck, there was nobody out at this time, and began to walk out of the forestry, and around the deserted shuttle once known as Olympus... such a bloody waste.

Walking for so many hours, more like jogging to him since he wasn't in a suit that tripled someone's natural height. Txe'lan had done this many times before, and for long trips that required tremendous energy he had a little trick in his side satchel (something he'd taken the time to weave so he'd have something to carry). Txe'lan could be seen chewing on some sort of seed of the Banshee plant, allowing the juices to absorb into his mouth. Not many Na'vi knew of its energetic properties, only that it was an edible source of food. Txe'lan, however, drew a sort of energy rush from them by keeping them in his mouth for extended periods of time, just the way Sky People would draw nicotine from their own poisonous plants. Elsewhere in his satchel he had some roots of the octoshrooms, a couple cat ear petals, an anemonid bell, and some Harvest Fruits. They'd be useful for the trip.
Katelyn seemed to be leading him closer to the dwelling of the Sky People. His anemonid bell in his satchel seemed to be leaning towards where she was walking towards when it wasn't pointing at her suit, so that was his first guess. It turned out that he was right, and that Katelyn seemed to becoming closer to a massive structure made of metal, making him kinda nervous about going anywhere near it. He didn't know if it was a trap or not, but he wasn't thinking that Katelyn led him here with that sort of intention. If push came to shove, Txe'lan still had his bow and dagger on his person, and he would be difficult to hurt when he was trying to get away.
"Tsengpe fikem?"
Txe'lan was curious where Katelyn had led him. He was definitely near other Sky People; he could smell their lingering scent, or maybe that was just Katelyn after all that walking in a stuffy self-contained atmosphere. Whatever the case, it smelled of foreign stuff and Sky People, leading him to be curious.

It didn't take her very long to get to the very structure of Olympus with her suit, seeing that it always moved faster than those on foot alone, making her once in a while have to check-up on Txe'lan incase he was dragging behind a bit. Though every time she checked on him, he seemed to be just fine, and he seemed to be chewing on something judging from the lightly enlarged cheeks on his face, but she never bothered asking what it even was, and continued on walking around the side of the shuttle.
When Txe'lan had asked about where they were however, she just stopped completely in her tracks. Even if she really did not understand what he had asked her, she knew exactly what he had been asking for. But how would you word it out to him? He probably did not know anything about the worlds or even the universe that was outside of the atmosphere on this planet, an it was probably for the best as well he did not know either, so many evils were out there and would kill all on site. After a bit of thinking, she found a way to word it out for the Na'vi, more or less;
"... Fi'u... was Olympus... peseng... we slept for years... slä... fell ne Pandora... pxey terkup krrpe impact...."
Katelyn began to get angry... Angry because no one did anything to try and stop them from crashing here, and now hundreds, if not thousands were dead because of this stupid accident, what a horrible waste of live to have been thrown away, and they do not even know what had happened to them. She vented her anger by screaming at the top of her lungs, and ramming her left-handed fist right through the metal hull of the fallen ship. She stayed in that position for about a few minutes, with her right hand lightly on another part of the hull that had not been bashed in, and panted a little bit, which had became a whimper as the claws on her right hand screeched on the metal, but it didn't matter to her, it couldn't take the pain away that was in the inside of her.
"Txe'lan... you know more than me about life and death... why do people have to die? And why did they have to die like this?"
She asked as she pulled her left arm out of the metal hull, and looked back at Txe'lan with teary eyes. Her actions probably confused him, maybe made him scared him, something she didn't want to make him feel around her. Even if she was a soldier, or even a friend to someone, it was always so difficult for her to keep her inner emotions locked up forever like this. It hurt her so much, and it kept getting worse with how long she held it in for.
"Oe... oe... I'm sorry..."
She said as she rubbed her eyes, making the mechanical arms wipe off the window shield, and brought her arms into a holding position, as if to old herself tightly since she had no one else to hold, and just turned away from Txe'lan and began to walk off towards her place again, but this time it was much more slower than the usual walking speed she usually had with her. She did something she shouldn't have done, and in front of a Na'vi as well, he might think her to be insane now, and might run off on her. It was such a pity, she could have done so much good for the two species, but her emotions had gotten the better of her, again.

So this was how the Sky People returned to Pandora. From the way Katelyn was reacting to the metal structure, it seemed that she had some deep emotional stress with it, probably something she'd been trying to cope with for some time. Txe'lan wasn't easily phased by this display of emotion, but he was however cautious of approaching Katelyn when she was in this state. He could still be crushed by the girl's metal suit, and that was something that wouldn't look good when he did decide to return to Home Tree. Txe'lan would just have to be careful.
From the words that Katelyn used to describe this metal structure, Txe'lan could get a fairly clear idea of where this place was. He'd heard stories of Sky People getting metal to fly, and just as a young bird would occasionally experience trouble when flying, they probably crashed for some unknown reason. Katelyn was probably one of the lucky few to survive, and Txe'lan's mind was starting to form a sort of storyboard based on the things he could see and what he'd heard from Katelyn. It wasn't a pretty tale.
"Nawm Eywa..."
Txe'lan's left hand went for his forhead, closing his good eye in the process, showing a little grievance for Katelyn as well as anyone else involved in this tragic scene. It was a sort of silent prayer for Eywa to look after the souls of the departed Sky People. Even if they were not of this world, they were part of this world now, and Eywa would care for the dearly departed. If only there were some seeds from the Tree of Souls in the area Txe'lan could provide a proper funeral service, but that would have to wait until later.
In the middle of his grievance, Txe'lan's eye snapped open and his hand went for his dagger at the sound of metal crashing through other metal followed by a blood-curdling scream from Katelyn, spooked a bit by the ordeal. Could these Sky People be any louder!? Txe'lan's grip on his dagger lessened when he realized what she was actually doing, feeling her emotion rub off on him and causing him to feel sort of guilty. Even the best prepared for combat still had a conscience, and emotions could only be held onto for so long before needing to be released.
Katelyn then asked Txe'lan a question in her own language, one that he had to think on for a bit, not just to find the right words but to actually convey a meaning as well. He could speak to her in English, but it would be a while before he could display emotion in his words, something that the Sky People would be able to understand on their own terms. As Katelyn began to walk off again, Txe'lan caught up to her again and instead of walking alongside her metal suit, Txe'lan leaped up onto the cockpit of the suit and hung off of the side, his foot on the hip of her suit and his hands grabbing where they could so he could ride along.
"Eywa says... there is no tirey without terkup. To Na'vi, all energy is borrowed... and when death happens... tirea is given back. It is never easy, but you... lived and saw me. Oel ngati kameie, Katelyn... I did not kill. Your tirea is good... Eywa hears you."
Sure, the words were strained, but their meaning held true. Txe'lan tried to use words that Katelyn would understand in order to convey his philosophy of death so that it would make sense. He couldn't say exactly what troubled Katelyn and how to help, but maybe he'd have an answer in due time.
((Translation: 1. "Great Eywa..." 2. "...there is no life without death... ...soul is given back. ...I see you, Katelyn... Your soul is good..."))

Katelyn began to feel really sick right now, an there was a good reason for it all as well. She just showed her inner rage that she had been holding in for quite some time, and it was completely to the wrong person that she had gone to show it to. She was screwed, and now the entire human clan that was barely living here was probably screwed as well, for this Na'vi could tell his own clan how nasty the race can really get around others. She didn't really mean to at the most, it was constantly beating at her chest to just let it out of her, and she went nuts to let it out. But now she felt so ugly inside, she hated the bitter ache that was now in her heart, but maybe it was best that the Na'vi had left... maybe it was best that he was gone before stuff got really bad.
Though she heard something climbing up on her side, and looked over to see what it could be, and to her surprise, it was Txe'lan that came up and began getting a ride on her side. She would have thought that he would have left her because of her little anger moment, but no, this guy seemed to see that quite content on being with her, and even a simple punch into a metal wall wouldn't get him to shoo off. This Na'vi was one to be a companion with.
What Txe'lan had said back to her as a reply to her question had really gotten deep into her, even if she didn't understand some things here and there, but she could understand just enough for her to crack a smile on her face. Txe'lan was so kind-hearted for saying those words to her, and was quite faithful to coming back to her, and it made her so happy to have met him this night.
"Txe'lan...irayo."
She said in a fair, yet happy tone of voice to the Na'vi while she walked around the fallen structure, though she kept looking back at him from time to time to make sure that he was fine and what not. But she stopped that when the two ha finally managed to get to their little destination. which as a large door at the side of Olympus, and thank goodness too.
"Nìltsan, moe are here."
She said with a sigh or relief being released from her mouth, and walked up towards it. At the top there were a few slits where she had gotten one of her claws and began to slide it into the slits in a specific order, which caused a green light to blink on and off as the doors opened wide for her to enter. Before she did however, Katelyn brought her right hand over to open a small side section which held a special-modified mask inside of it. Delicately she picked it up with two of her fingers, making sure she wouldn't crush it, and passed it over to Txe'lan.
"Munge it. Sì rä'ä munge off inside."
She told him sternly as she pointed at him with her metal sit. She just met this guy, and he showed her that he could be a gentleman for being so primitive, the last thing that she needed was him choking in her oxygen and dying on her. Plus she needed him alive if she was going to learn anything, the last thing she needed was other Na'vi thinking that she killed him for his knowledge.
Translation(1. Txe'lan... Thank you. 2. Well, we are here. 3. Take it. And do not take off inside.)

It seemed that Txe'lan's little explanation of life and death had hit home. Katelyn was no longer in a rage, and she seemed to be much happier. This was a good sign, a sign saying that Txe'lan could still do some good for the Sky People, even if he didn't fully understand them yet. He didn't want to pass them off as volatile emotion-driven beings; things like those had to be learned to cope with and ease off. Even Txe'lan knew this and had to employ techniques specific to the Na'vi to vent emotions and bad feelings, only his methods didn't involve making too much noise. Perhaps Txe'lan would have to look into that later to see if he couldn't teach them more about the ways of life on Pandora.
Katelyn had thanked Txe'lan for his effort in trying to console her after her little display of rage, and instead of feeling guilt he felt a little relief. Relief was a sacred feeling, the feeling of knowing someone had done good and possibly inspired others to do the same. It was the least he could do, even if they were worlds apart in nature.
"Lu mawey, Katelyn."
Then when Txe'lan had followed her to a rather large part of the metal structure, he watched her as she did something to make a part of it open wide. He wasn't so much scared as he was interested as to how she did it. Being a Na'vi, Txe'lan had no knowledge of doors or how they opened; the closest thing he had ever used to a door was a beaded curtain of some kind. It was essentially the same principle, but the doors of Sky People seemed to be much more complex.
Just as he thought the both of them were going inside that metal compound, the arm of Katelyn's suit had brought forth something clear, yet there was something on the bottom of it connected to something else. Txe'lan wasn't quite sure what it was, but it looked really similar to what she wore on her face when she was outside of her suit. Thinking this was one made for him, Txe'lan accepted it and placed it upon his face, feeling the edges of the device sealing itself to his head. It was a little unnerving at first, but Txe'lan took his own advice and calmed himself, welcoming the mask to his face. He could still hear just fine, but now he was dealing with a faint mirror image of his own face, most notably the black streak across his left eye; his eye patch. This was going to be something he would have to get used to...
"Fpxiakim tsatseng?" Txe'lan asked after he donned the mask, wondering where they went from here. He didn't know this place, and he would have to rely on Katelyn to guide him to where she told him they could learn together.

It was a good sign that Txelan had put on the mask over his face, it showed that he was still understanding her, even if she could not properly put her words together just yet. But even so, it was showing that he was still wanting to learn from her, even if it meant to put something that was completely forgein on him, this had worried her a well just a little. To be desperate like this to understand things were usually causes to greed and desire, things that had torn her species apart from one another, that couldn't happen to this species in the slightest.
When Txe'lan had asked if they were going in the door entry, she just nodded her head at him with a light smile, and began to walk inside of the structure. As soon as she did, the doors behind her had closed shut, and the Pandora was being sucked out of the room, and fresh oxygen was flowing into the room, allowing her to open her cockpit and take a deep breath of the crisp air around her. After the exchange of air, the doors in front of them had opened wide, allowing clear entrance to the station inside.
"Nìltsan, oeng here."
She said as she began to walk forwards into the little station. Inside there were a few different things that could impress different types of people that came in. There were skeletons of Banshees and other different species with mechanial versions of themselves to try and remake some of the species to try and help with different needs. Then there were more of the artistic sides with drawings of animals and different plant species that were from different planets including this one. Then there was the rooms where they held her more personal items and the log disks that were from the abandoned bases centuries ago.
After a few steps, she had gotten to the recharge system for her suit, and had settled the engine down as numerous pistons and wires had attached it to the back, causing energy to flow into the machine and recharging it for the next time she needed it. With a sigh, she had got herself un-hooked from her equipment, and jumped right out of the cockpit and onto the metal floor. It caused her legs some light pain, but she had gotten over it quickly as she walked casually over to a table and had taken her jacket off leaving but a grey tank-top on her on her top-half, and had taken the book out of her jacket and placed it on the table while she waited for Txe'lan to come over.

Slowly but surely, Txe'lan followed Katelyn into the metal structure, keeping a firm grip on the hilt of his dagger, not sure what was going to pop out at him in this place. He felt like a little kid walking into a haunted house for the first time, always watching and waiting for something to jump up and make some eerie noise that would cause him to run scared for his life. So far this place seemed abandoned, so Txe'lan just stayed a healthy distance behind Katelyn, watching and waiting for what was to come next.
Katelyn finally got out of her suit after she plugged something into it; it was likely an energy source. Txe'lan, from behind his mask, raised an eyebrow in curiosity, wondering how that metal suit worked as well. But that wasn't the most pressing thing on his mind; Katelyn had finally taken off her jacket and the piece of clothing she wore underneath it, leaving one final layer on so that she would be modest. Txe'lan actually wondered why the Sky People chose to wear the clothes that they did; was it a sign of status like the Na'vi? Or was it because of utility? Txe'lan didn't know, only that the Na'vi chose to wear what they did because it was a mix of the two.
If Txe'lan didn't know any better, he would've thought the air around him was being sucked right out of the room. This construct of the Sky People kept getting stranger and stranger; technology was a fickle thing to the Na'vi since they had no use for it. Why exactly did they need the things in this metal structure except for filtering their air? Pandora had all they needed for survival, but Txe'lan could only theorize so much before he was led back to his original answer: Sky People were just world's apart in nature, living off of technology for a comfortable life.
"Kehe pamesto?" Txe'lan asked as he followed her to what looked like a table, wondering why it was eerily silent inside this metal place; not a note to be heard among the air. He was tempted to bring out a Cat Ear plant from his satchel and start some music, but then he remembered his mask and how he wouldn't be able to breathe like normal. So that was out of the question...

While Katelyn had been waiting for Txe'lan to come over to the table, she had been clearing more of her desk-top of all her plans and equipment to make it a proper place of of learning. For having a place that was just covered up with random papers and junk was not a proper place for education, at least for her that would be not very proper, maybe for Txe'lan since he was pretty much surrounded by probably plant matter and dirt. But none the less, there always had to be some sort of clean places for learning.
She looked back up at Txe'lan once more when she had heard him ask about something, from after a little bit of thinking of what he asked her, and she soon realized that he was asking for some music. It was awfully silent after all in the hollow room around them, so it wouldn't be too bad if they had some sort of tunes going on to help turn their brains a little bit more while they tried to learn some more about their languages together.
"Umm, alright then." She said as she picked up a sphere which pretty much was a music player for them, and clicked a bit of the causing some lights, which eventually showed a music list of the music she had uploaded before she had boarded the Olympus. But she knew that Txe'lan would not like any of her music, so she had to pick something that could help them actually learn better, and what better was that than some Beethoven?
She scrolled down the holligraphic display of songs till she she got to the songs from the 17-1800's, and just clicked symphany 7 just for laughs. She even put in on a medium-low setting so it wouldn't blast the cat-man's ear drums right out of his sides, and he didn't need anymore of a disability than the one he had on him already, which of course was his left eye.
"It ain't your music... but it will have to do."
She said with a shrug as she took off her cap and put it to the side of the table, then she un-clipped the hair clip that kept her hair in place, which had let her raven-black hair fall to her sides, and lightly flatened her hair down incase if one part was awkwardly hanging off to the side for being in that position for who knows how long. Though it was always straight at it was right now, so she had no worries about it.
"Well, let's start with me asking how you spoke English, that is, if you remember who taught you." She asked as she pulled over a chair so she could sit on it, and dragged over a large bucket for Txe'lan to sit on, sonce he would just get stuck in a human chair, and the bucket was probably the biggest thing to support his weight on when sitting.

Now this was strange. When he'd asked for some music, Txe'lan had no idea what he was getting himself into when Katelyn had chosen some programmed music from the metal structure. He was surprised that this place's technology was still working despite the condition of its outside shape; he thought it would look the same on the inside as it did on the outside, but that theory was quickly contradicted. He started hearing something being plucked, something like strings. Even if Txe'lan and the rest of the Na'vi liked using Cat Ear plants, lyres, and drums as music, this was something new to him; it didn't sound anything like what he was used to, but there was still that undertone of rhythm that he was getting used to. Sometime he would have to get into music lessons as well with Katelyn.
When Katelyn asked him where he learned to speak English, Txe'lan had to probe his memory a bit for the answer. He wasn't quite sure where he learned to speak the language, but he was able to formulate an answer, even if Katelyn wouldn't understand how he was able to. His answer was simple, but it was the most direct thing he could think of saying. Grabbing the end of his long hair braid, he showed Katelyn the little squid-like nerve endings that ran through his hair, ready to say how he could speak English.
"Pizayu memories... ftu Eywa. Toruk Makto plltxe inglisia."
Txe'lan then let the end of his hair braid go, letting it fall back to the square of his back. His memories of the last Toruk Makto were where he drew the language from, although they were faint they did wonders for him so far. It was still rudimentary, but at least he could convey his meanings through what he'd learned already. Hopefully Katelyn would understand what he was trying to say, as English only lingered around the Na'vi since the time of the last Rider of Last Shadow three centuries ago. Now the remnants of English were just in the memories of the Na'vi ancestors, through the Tree of Souls and Eywa.

Katelyn could admit just by looking at her eyes that she was both spooked and yet amazed at the same time when she saw what Txe'lan had done with his hair in front of her. For out of the black braided hair had emerged strands of pinks tentacle like nerve strands that just wiggled around on the outside like tiny worms, now this was something that she had wanted to see for quite some time. She had heard about these special nerve systems that had came from nerve streams around the back of the skull and near the neck joints to come into a connection with other species and even plants on this planet, it was something she wanted to study ever since she had found out about it.
But her mind had snapped back into reality once more when Txe'lan had began to answer the question he had asked him, and just watched the hair which was at the corner of her eyesight fall right to the Na'vi's back once more. It took a bit of time for her to find out what he was sayting since most of the words were those she could not remember quite well. When she had came up partially of what he had been saying, she just moved her mouth slightly to the right-side of her face, she wasn't very much expecting what he had said.
She was more of the lines expecting some form of teacher telling him of these words, heck, even his parents if it was. But no, it was old history merely passing down what it could for itself, that for sure was not helpful in the least for her, and what a pity as well.
"Well, there goes for any extra help..."
She admitted as she rubbed the side of her head as she looked down at the book, guess it was just the two of them learning little of one anothers language, and praying that they would understand one another. Though tyhat wouldn't be too hard if one another knew as much as the other believed.
"At least... Well, at least we have the basics pretty much laid out for now... Err... Oeng omum... nìtxan... about... English and Na'vi "
She saqid with a light smile to Txe'lan as she tried to bring their hopes up for the time being, and re-saying her word for Txe'lan to understand what she was saying as well. For a person who wants to learn is felt degraded and lost is one that will never learn in life, which was something that these two would have to prevent from getting while learning. The two of them had to make sure that they were like that in such a way to make sure one feels comfortable with the other person, in truth for her however, she did have a little bit of doubt in her that they wouldn't be able to fix it completely out to one another.
Then again, all you really needed was some faith in your heart and courage in your spirit to accomplish all that is needed

Unlike the Sky People, Txe'lan and the rest of the Na'vi had access to their ancestor's memories, and they were the perfect teacher that made sure you understood that was being taught to you not through repetitions, but by injecting the knowledge directly into the brain of the recipient. Txe'lan could probably bypass Katelyn teaching him English, as long as he had the book she introduced to him and read it constantly he'd be able to fill in the cracks with his ancestor's memories. Soon he'd be fluent in both languages and then he'd be able to instruct Katelyn on the language of the Na'vi.
"Piyazu lu nawm ay-karyu, sla kawng role models."
Txe'lan was referring to the fact that ancestors can be great teachers, but bad role models for the modern age. The Na'vi simply had rich traditions, so this mostly wasn't a problem, but with how versatile the Sky People were, maybe they could make better use of this advice. Txe'lan wasn't saying that they didn't know anything, but the grown-ups among the Sky People weren't always the most willing to learn. As the old Tsahik used to say: "It's hard to fill a glass that is already full."
The music that Katelyn chose to play reminded Txe'lan of an "i'en", a stringed instrument as well as many others in the same harmony. It was actually kind of soothing, something he could get used to, but it would never sound as good as Txe'lan and the rest of the Na'vi going full orchestral display of Cat Ear reeds, lyres, and skin drums. After all, they weren't called the Omaticaya clan (Blue Flute clan) for nothing without musical excellence. Txe'lan would've demonstrated, but with his mask on, it wouldn't have either looked right nor felt right; heck, it probably wouldn't have even sounded right. Best not go there right now...
"I just need... to read. Utral Aytirea ulte Eywa teach sounds... not letters."
Txe'lan knew he'd be able to bypass some things, but he'd need Katelyn to teach him letters. The Na'vi language didn't have letters, so this was something he would need to learn if he was going to communicate with Katelyn by the act of sending a letter or something similar. It was going to be tough, but Txe'lan was willing to do it.

Katelyn's smile seemed to fade away little by little as she had been trying to understand Txe'lan by what he had been talking about to her, it was just so utterly confusing for her, though that was because she was merely an engineer, and not a liguist or whatever the heck that it was supposed to be called, and this was merely going to make thinngs even more different as well confusing than what they already were at this time. But she was the main person that had caused this situation to happen, there for she was going to have to be the one that was going to set it up right for the both of them. Either way though, this was going to be nothing but a big win- win senario for the two of them for learning their languages.
Even so, there was the problem of Txe'lannot having the capabilities of even writing or reading his own language as she had expected from the odd looks he gave the book that he had shown him at the fire pit they were at before they came here to Olympus, and that would probably be an even harder thing for the two to work on, especially on her as she needed to teach him about her writings and what not, boy was this going to be a hassle for her every time she had to teach him something new, which would probably be almost every night. Seeing as she, and probably Txe'lan had jobs to do around day time, and the only time where they wouldn't be caught was when they were hidden within the shadows, or at least while trying to come to her little base of operations to work on their little teachings, but that was going to be a little bit of a problem all in its own.
Yes, both of them had to work among the days sometimes, though there was the chnces that someone would not be needing work for the day and try to meet up with one another, which would cause some conflict and any other really bad issues for the both of them. She shouldn't even be hiding a Na'vi in this palce either, with people getting their belongings and what not, there was a slight chance that some of the humans would manage to find him here snooping around sooner or later, which of course was the reason that they would be going out around the night time. But not everyone had slept through the night, and she didn't think that all Na'vi went to sleep around the same time either, and if she was caught by them... She would not have a happy ending in the least, and neither would Txe'lan if they found out about that she had been teaching him the English language.
Even if they were to be careful with one another from being noticed of any of their species of them knowing what they were up to, there were the difficulties of trying to meet up with one another when they wanted to, as they had no communication with each other to tell if they were able to meet with one another or not, and that could be a hassle depending on what one another were doing at times, and one could not meet the other if one was bored and wanted to meet the other person which coulod cause big troubles.
"I know that Txe'lan, I know you can't read or write... And I will help you with that. But what bugs me more is how we can make sure we see one another in good times."
Txe'lan may have not been able to fully understand what she was talking about, though Katelyn was getting a bit stressed out just by looking at her fingernails tapping on the table, it was just about all of these little issues that they had to sort out with one another before someone's hide had been skinned off their backs, that was something neither needed from the opposite side.
It was just so stressful to have the humans have to do something stupid to piss off the Na'vi from all of those years, and they couldn't get any sort of help from one another, either it being a human or a Na'vi. Heck, it would probably be best if they had gotten one of those Avatars to help them out, seeing as they were both a human and a Na'vi, and they had to learn both languages combined. Ya, that could work if she got to manage to trust one.

Txe'lan had a lot of threshold for patience, but Katelyn seemed to be quickly testing those waters. He never let little things bug him in the way of achieving his goals, but Katelyn seemed to be stuck in-between deciding to teach him outright or trying to find the safest, most efficient way to get the teaching done. It was true that this wasn't the safest place for Txe'lan to be found learning English, and Home Tree wasn't exactly safe for Katelyn to be found teaching or learning the language of the Na'vi. They would both need a place they could readily visit without being followed or have any immediate danger. The matter of making it work was something Txe'lan had already been thinking about; transportation wasn't an issue for him, he would just need his Direhorse or Ikran and he'd be set. Katelyn, on the other hand, would have to use something other than her metal suit. If she had wheels of some kind, that would be even more beneficial. Txe'lan could probably ride two on either of his animals, but picking Katelyn up would be troublesome.
"I know... many places. Utral Tirea, and others. Safe... and not far."
Txe'lan was talking about the Tree of Souls, his direct line to Eywa and thus his readily accessible source to the memories of Toruk Makto, his source of the English language. It would cut the learning time in half and maybe more, but it wasn't too safe for Katelyn or any of her equipment. It was mostly left alone after the Sky People left Pandora all those years ago, so it would be a safe spot to congregate. Any other places were just for safety reasons, but ultimately it would just be Katelyn's decision on where and when to engage the teaching process.
"Nga fixtey."
Txe'lan was leaving the choice to Katelyn. If she had any alternatives, it was best she bring them forward now so that she could get a second opinion. If she was content on visiting the Na'vi's most sacred place then it would be all the better, but Txe'lan would be willing to consider an alternative if Katelyn had one to offer. The dwelling of the Sky People wasn't the safest thing around for him, and neither was Home Tree for her, so a solution was bound to present itself.

Katelyn looked back up at Txe'lan when he had been telling her about that he knew of other safe places where the two could study without either side having such strong suspesions as they would if they worked over here in the Olympus, or out at the place where the Na'vi called their Home Tree, so it could work out for the best if these guys had their own little hidden spot where they could be safe from most harm that could come from either side of the species, at least that could be brought out of the way.
Though what Txe'lan kept on talking about had been interesting her slightly, even if she did not know what it exactly was in truth, but she did understand the word 'Tirea' which meant in her language to be 'Soul', and she knew how attached that these creatures were to their eviroment. But this sounded a bit different in comparison compared to other places she had heard about in Pandora, it sounded like a place where it had full meaning to them, like it was close, which is why it worried her a bit.
If this place was close to the Na'vi in a matter of being spirit-wise, that may cause them to come to this place to have a spiritual connection, and by them coming it could still cause a lot of suspension for her to be there, and a whole load of trouble if she was ever caught there. If it was going to be that dangerous however, then why would Txe'lan even suggest a place such as that? Was he trying to trick her to come with him to be caught? No... that couldn't be the anwer. He needed her as much as she needed him to accomplish their studies of their languages, so he could never put one another's lives in dire peril.
"Alright then, Utral Tirea it is... Slä... Krr ne lu ultxa is a kin."
She said as she yawned a little, covering her mouth as she did to to be proper and polite to the Na'vi near her. It was indeed late for her, and probably even for Txe'lan himself, but she was going to stick around with him until it was his choice to get going for himself, though they first needed the time to be meeting with one another before either had went off to rest first, that was needed now that everything else was set-up for them.
It was a good thing that she had put on the music for the both of them to listen to, as it had been helping her cleanse her mind a bit more for the time being, which was a good thing while they had been discussing this stuff to one another. It was meant to help the mind a little with the soft tunes of violens and drums, and whatever sorts of instruments were in the mix, it just calmed down some of the stress in her, though it was Txe'lan that had been helping her though it just by answering her questions, so it was good for two things to calm her down.
(Translation: But... Time to be meeting is a need.)
